Just took a stunned/injured hummingbird to Austin Wildlife Rescue. When I returned, there was a deceased Ruby-throated Hummingbird (young male) lying on the north side of the building. Its gorget was just beginning to fill in, there were a few ruby red feathers that shone in the sunshine.
