This very prickly plant was observed near the Best of All Lookout parking lot, Springbrook National Park. I posted a close-up of the Insect Galls on the upper right leaf elsewhere. I was hoping that identification of their host will aide in identification of the gall species. There are several Australian Solanum spp. that the leaves resemble. I don't know how much further we can get without flowers or fruit.

I observed these small bats on the roof of a shallow cave along Natural Bridge Circuit, Springbrook National Park.
I could not enter the cave, it was very dark inside, and flashes were prohibited, so the picture is not very good.
