These birds are common around campus. I believe it is a pigeon but I don’t know the scientific classification.

These squirrels are very common and I have seen them approach students for food.

I believe this is a grackle. However, I have a difficult time distinguishing these birds from crows.

I observed this lizard by a small stream. The coloring makes it easy to blend in with the environment.

I see these trees around campus. They look like every green trees because of their needle like leaves.

At first I thought this was poison ivy, but with a closer observation I saw the leaves were a different shape.

I observed this plant by Waller creek. I have also seen them at different points around campus.

This plant looks like a weed and is short, which might make it better adapted to a dry environment.

I have seen many of these toads around my home, especially by the water bowls I keep out for my dogs. Their coloring is good camouflage with the environment.
