PRESUMABLY Pacific Wren--not sure where the contact zone is between this and Winter Wren. On 20 Oct. it came to broadcast song of Pacific Wren repeatedly, and returned songs. On 21 Oct, I broadcast PaWr call--it came close & left repeatedly; then I broadcast WiWr and it came once, briefly, not close, and did not sing. When I broadcast PaWr it came and sang again. It song sounded like PaWr song & had no melodic piccolo-like notes & whistles of the WiWr (Sibley's guide on iPnone). A wren has had a territory at this spot near my cabin for years.

Duplicated observation to create an "interaction". I took a photo of the kite out the window driving by, but didn't stop because I didn't need another photo of Y-b Kite, only later, looking at the image on the computer, realizing that it was interacting with a snake. Blurry photo: looks like the kite is attacking the snake, but an iNaturalist reviewer suggested the snake might have been trying to prey on the kite.
