Poor dove crashed into our window and needed to take a rest. Trying to decide if it's a mourning dove or another, perhaps a common ground dove.
iNaturalist thinks it's a squirrel, a marten, or other small furry mammal so that's no help.

- Too sour to eat! Probably more sour than a lemon or a lime
Found sitting on the ground, not on a tree. The tree of origin was not readily identifiable.
-- There were two of them and it kind of looked like someone had gently set them there. I took one and left the other.- Definitely did not come from a store, because it was dirty and had a bug bite.
- Thought it might be quince but it has dozens of small apple shaped seeds, far more than the pictures of quince I have seen on Google.
- Also, it is smooth and apple shaped, not bumpy like a quince.

I want to know the exact species of this spider before I catch it in a tissue.
It's about 1.5 cm in diameter from left "foot" to right "foot."

Look like blackberries but don't exactly taste like them. Still taste sweet. Even the stems are soft enough to eat.
Literally dropping to the ground before my very eyes. Sometimes they fall when I try to touch them. My fingers are purple just from picking a few. The bottom of my sandals are covered and I really hope nothing happens to my mom's car.

This same little a**hole from two weeks ago has figured out ALL THREE of our bird feeders no matter where we put them! It even infiltrated the one with a cover that was impervious to the littler native squirrels!
MID POST UPDATE: In the process of dangling upside down to steal seeds, this lil s**t SLIPPED AND FELL OFF down a good 10 feet to the ground (pics 5 and 6)! We went to the lower floor to continue observing it, only to find that it had a FRIEND still up in our tree(pic 7)! So, we have two fox squirrels and both have been too afraid to do bird feeder acrobatics since the first one fell!

Eats our birdseed and throws everything it doesn't want to the ground! Not scared of our large dog going crazy or my mom banging on the window. My mom says it seemed to be okay eating our hot pepper suet, unlike the smaller squirrels, but I haven't observed that for myself.
