I am a high school biology teacher and have a bachelor's degree in Avian Sciences from UC Davis. I am a volunteer HawkWatcher for Golden Gate Raptor Observatory, a Docent Naturalist for Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, a Wildflower Docent for Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve, and a Board Member for Sequoia Audubon Society. Sometimes I regret not getting a higher degree in science, so participating in participatory science is the next best thing.
