I've always enjoyed learning more about different ecological communities and contributing to community science where I can! Currently, I’m tracking the insects that I notice (and am able to photograph with an iPhone) in the native plant habitat I’ve created on my suburban lot: sunny “prairie” in front, and lightly augmented intact woodland in back, curious as to its impact on insect quantity and diversity. Does “plant it and insects will find it” really work? I appreciate everyone’s help IDing them to expand our collaborative knowledge.
