My main interests in the biological world included learning about the natural history and identification of Midwestern insects and wildflowers. My expertise lies primarily in bumble bees, with my MS research focused on observing and documenting bumble bee nests and their associated habitats. Other interests of mine include learning about native stink bug natural history, bird watching, and doing some wildlife photography.

I spend time identifying bumble bees primarily in the Upper Midwest on iNaturalist. If I make an incorrect ID, please let me know.
