A lifelong nature nerd living in Steveston at the mouth of the Fraser River. I grew up fascinated by nature, and this curiosity was nurtured by my science teacher father, who'd take my sister and I out on nature excursions all throughout BC. A lifelong passion for biodiversity and nature ensued. I studied Geography at UBC, with a big emphasis on biogeography and ecology. I currently work in for the provincial government in policy work but nature's my true love.
