I am a passionate conservationist, researcher, guide and photographer. My main focus has been predators, having done research on leopards (Lydenburg and St Lucia), genets (Ballito), and lynx (Norway), as well as African crowned eagles and Southern African pythons in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

I have also trained field guides in Zululand with Bhejane Nature Training.
As biodiversity specialists, my wife and I run our business in conservation, biodiversity and tourism called The LionHeart Experience. Alongside fighting for conservation, our passion is to be a link between people and the beautiful world we live in, giving them an incredible and unforgettable experience as they encounter the beauty of nature. I use my photography and writing to educate and inspire passion as well as to promote conservation and awareness of environmental issues.
