I am a high school student from Cape Town, South Africa. I have a keen interest in the indigenous flora of Southern Africa, but my focus is largely around the Greater Cape Floristic Region situated primarily within the Western Cape province of South Africa. My interests also involve invasive species management, as well as most other things to do with nature conservation in general. I recently did a project on the Endangered Psoralea fascicularis (my Wikipedia page), of which the write-up book can be found here and the presentation there.

As a committee member of the Friends of Tokai Park (FoTP), I regularly join in on volunteer hacking events to remove invasive alien plant species that pose a threat to the Critically Endangered Cape Flats Sand Fynbos - the dominant vegetation type occurring within Lower Tokai Park's borders.

By the by: for now, I have found myself rather busy with school and so my standard ID contributions have dropped quite a bit. Please do still tag me if you need help with an ID (mainly for southern Africa of course) - or anything else for that matter. I am always happy to help out where I can. If I don't get back to you for a few days, it is most likely that I've somehow missed the notification; feel free to tag me again if so :)
