White Rock Blackland Prairie Volunteer Survey

This project is to assess the presence or absence of the 10 "good" species that we want to see on the White Rock Prairie remnants. We are interested in any species within this polygon, but we have special interest in the following 10 species found in this field guide. Our goal is to see all of these species in all the remnants around White Rock Lake.....next to each name is when it is most noticeable

On 8-1-2017 we saw little bluestem just growing tall, no efflorescence yet. and new jersey tea just blooming, leaves are very green. This time period does not match the listing above, possibly due to all the rain this summer. On the other side of East Lawther there were more and different species. Sara
