The Meewasin Northeast Swale is an ancient glacial channel scar of the South Saskatchewan River. The Swale provides an unique landscape feature on the edge of Saskatoon with remnant native grasslands and prairie pothole wetlands.

The purpose of this project is to collect biological information of the Swale - flora and fauna - for an inventory of the site and long-term ecological monitoring.
