I have a BS in biology and a very broad work history. Since 2018, I've been at home on the Blackland Prairie in rural Milam County, TX. My interests have evolved from the general to the obsessive: Texas wolf spiders. These are my goals:

  1. developing field identification guidance for Texas species.
  2. locating the third of Texas species with little or no documentation on the internet.
  3. isolating and documenting undescribed species in Texas.
  4. creating county level range maps for Texas species.
  5. creating developmental image arrays for Texas species.

Overambitious to be sure, but I'll do as much as I can. I used to review all new Texas observations on iNaturalist, but with about 10% of world observations coming from Texas, it became too time consuming. Feel free to tag me though.
