An exceptional remnant site!
This was not seen on Womack Creek until recently. This patch 14' x 6' was thriving with no sign of biocontrol agent on it.

Six additional American Flamingos showed up at St. Marks NWR in the wake of Hurricane Idalia. The refuge currently hosts seven, with Pinky having blown in during Hurricane Michael in 2018 and staying on/off since.
Observation of a huntsman spider preying on a blue-tailed skink by my daughter, Jacy Miller.
According to my herpetologist friends, the skink is most probably Emoia caeruleocauda.
