This tree appeared in our back yard. This is the first time we’ve seen berries on it so we aren’t sure when they appeared or what color they might eventually turn, or about any blossoms that may have preceded them.

The hell is this?! It’s looks and it’s behaviorisms are odd to me. It should be noted that it would follow me and the camera when I’d turn the camera or my finger, as in it would turn its whole body to face me or the camera. And when looking at me or the camera it would adopt a mantis pose (without the hands in the air) and sway from side to side. Also, while I believe it has wings, because I was sitting pretty high up when it landed on me, I noticed a lack of said wings, and instead it seemed to jump around. And a final note is that it appears to be an insect (ie three legs on each side). Sorry that I couldn’t get a closer pic, every time I zoomed my camera in any further the picture would just become blurry.
