Not 100% sure on the ID.
Only the second time I have seen a type of rockling and luckily got a photo.
It was actually one of two rocklings, but the other one didn't hang about for a photo.
OLYMPUS TG-4
I had seen this seahorse with its mate earlier in the month too. The male was looking pretty pregnant. I'll try and find those pictures to add. They are the only seahorses I have seen in England. Was very chuffed at the very unexpected find of these beautiful creatures! Kept the exact location secret so the wouldn't be hassled.
It's taken hundreds of UK dives to see one of these in England! The first time I have seen one. I was surprised as I thought they were here over the summer months only, maybe they're still here as the water temperature is still warm (for here anyway!)
Shame about the back scatter!
On 14th October 2017, I did another dive and the triggerfish was still there. I think it's the same one as in exactly the same place by the same rock.
I was literally thinking on the dive that I hadn't seen one of these for a while and there it was on my way back to shore!
Please excuse the 'moody' lighting... the strobe is temporarily out of action!
This was on a night dive. It was literally this way up on the rocks. Do they all sleep on their backs?

This was a night dive. I'm not completely sure whether its an European eel or a Conger eel... It wasn't very big, maybe 60cm long.
Sleeping in-between some rocks.
On a night dive.
Mostly buried under the sand so not completely sure on ID...
On a night dive.
Unsure of the ID...
This was the only one of these I saw.
On a night dive.
Not completely sure of the ID.
There were quite a few of these on the silt. I saw around 5-6.
This is the first one I have seen in Babbacombe. It was quite a small one compared to the other one I've seen, around 50cm in length.
Love rays!
