This Southern Giant Petrel was photographed just offshore from Macquarie Island. The green tip on the bill is an aid in identification. The Northern Giant Petrel has a red tip on the bill.

a single ultra large Lion's Mane jelly near shore along with other smaller white jellies. The Jelly measured almost exactly 24 inches across the top. The long tentacles were getting tangles in the kelp and of the plants growing from the bottom of the cove.
