Microorganism found while a middle school science class was learning to use microscopes. The students were examine drops of water from a natural hay diffusion, a bucket collecting rain water that also contained grass clippings. Viewed at 100x total magnification, we estimated the size to be approximately .08 - 0.10 mm in diameter.
