Descripción

Hypomyces or similar secondary fungus growing on gills (the white section) and cap. Haven’t seen this before. In a dense spruce/redwood area. Lots of Amanita, Suillus and Xerocomellus in area.

Massive displays of silver Lupine have appeared after the recent major fire. I had not seen these displays after the historic mount vision fire. They are apparently fulfilling their role as a nitrogen fixers.
