Growing from soil in mixed forest. Invisible spore print. Small round not obviously ornamented spores. Photo in Lugol’s

Multiple in short grass. In the last photos the floret on the right is this species, and the right the associated yellower observation from a dryer location.

Ramaria "sp-VT01"
Closest DNA match (94-95% similar)

Ramaria sandaracina chondrobasis
I’ve tagged this observation with:
Mustard-Yellow-Ramaria
Color is not a good filter for Ramaria, so I expect multiple species and even different genuses may match the color of this observation!
Ramaria "sp-MA01"

I invite other observers of similar Ramaria that seem to share the same light salmon color and maybe the yellow-tips to add the tags:
Light_salmon_Ramaria
and if appropriate:
Yellow-tips
to your observations too.
This will allow interested observers to click on a tag and see all the similar observations on a grid or map together! I don't know much about this but that seemed like one way to start the process of getting a better characterization of this provisional species.
Trying to learn how to tell the difference between red and Norway spruce using: https://bplant.org/compare/8091-8518
1) branches look “neat and spiky”, conical top
2) cone is smaller
3) twigs are hairy
4) needles are shorter and angled forward
5) what the difference in the bark?
Stevikinevil identified the DNA for voucher 11584 (this specimen) as:
Ramaria "sp-WI01"
https://mycomap.com/genetics/blast-search/g01-11584-inat178767557-1-r96922/
Due to voucher mix-up (my fault) the DNA analysis is attached to a different observation.
Related specimens have been posted as both provisional Ramaria "sp-WI01" and Phaeoclavulina eumorpha.
