In Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY - not sure what I saw, but so cool!
At a community garden in Park Slope, Brooklyn
very atypical tree to see a Bobolink on!
Male with bird prey. Bird ate some of the meal and then flew the rest to nearby oak where there were four fledgling Kestrels; see also: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/221175278
I think I see color in the wing nub of the prey. I wonder if this is a Monk Parakeet nestling?
