Island within the Leven Archipelago, east coast of Madagascar. Discrete, limited population of Aloes. No other populations known from this Archipelago. Recurved, green leaves to 80cm long. Leafy heads raised on unbranched supporting stem, approx 18cm diameter, 90cm tall. Heads appear to branch. Young flowers appear orange, paler coloured towards base of the flower spike. Suggestive of Aloe helenae. Unclear whether cultivated or wild - not linked to habitation. Dense growth of Secamone sp. liane smothering several Aloe heads.
