I found multiple large groups of these flowers growing naturally off the side of a road in Austin.
also found in an environmentally sensitive area of the park where picnicking and water access is restricted, moist soil and very green grass, rough estimate of about 40 feet tall
The color scheme of these flowers caught my eye. They seem to be blooming well in their environment!
I found this flower amongst weeds in a nearby plain grassland. The leaves were a light green color and lighter than the other grass around it. It had really long leaves, which made it stand out.
