Photos and observation by M. Caluza. Pair first observed at 1553 hrs. Pair then moved approximately 3 ft and photographed again (photo 2) at 1616 hrs. Emailed to nature@nhm.org.
Mating behavior. Found on sunny log in forested wetland
Photo and observation by K. Night. Pair were motionless while being observed and were gone one hour later.
Mating hold. Observed them for about an hour (never moved), then the pair scuttled off into bushes. Close to same location (along side of driveway close to the street) as before in May 2017 (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/78716729) , except a different pair of lizards.
