Escuchado en unos matorrales
Escuchado en el suelo en un sotobosque. El guía Leonel Chávez dice que nunca había escuchado este canto.
Shape seems similar to Chaetura, but flight was too sluggish for Vaux's Swift. In the photo I perceive dark throat and whitish on forehead. A vocalization that seemed to come from this bird was similar to call of Great Swallow-tailed Swift (This bird was too small for that species and has different shape and color pattern). This bird may have been migrating (flight course was basically similar to all other migrating swifts and swallows, flying north or northeast). In both photos you can see white on face. The exact location for this sighting was the western entrance to the Santa Inés (Zamorano University) Agroecological Farm, very close to the Yeguare River, at about 800 meters above sea level. This is in San Antonio de Oriente, Depto Francisco Morazán (iNaturalist may not show the precise location for this species).
