Growing in Wildwood Canyon.
Observed on the side of Stargaze Trail.
Common in the area with both mature and young plants growing off the trail and into the hills
Common throughout the area, especially in the little ditch off the trail and in the grassy, open areas nearby. Two plants pictured.

Around a dozen plants growing in a row right along the edge of the path.
One of the only currently green grasses in the area, probably because it's native and actually adapted to the local climate! Locally abundant, not far from the creek just west of it.
Covered with cobalt milkweed beetles and some large milkweed bugs. Growing right off the path with several younger plants underneath it
