bit of an odd observation as all these suckers were nosing up to shore, assume spawning, but seemed to be odd location
Appears to be the pharyngeal teeth of a freshwater drum, found next to a river
Photo taken through my binoculars, it’s not very clear, but the fish was circling with its dorsal fin and back out of water. It looks like its has bony scutes, so I think it may be a sturgeon.
Incredibly shy, 2-3 individuals
Was super stoked to finally see one! Noticed it trying to cross the road in the flooded section of the road.
