Egg cases washed ashore on wrack line.
The tidepools in this islet were mostly filled with Bat Stars (Genus Patiria) so it was interesting to see a Blood Star in this area.
Creature was 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter, from arm tip to arm tip.
very small and sitting on a tip of a chitin next to a ochre sea star
Not sure if proliferating or brooding but I think proliferating.
