Found on the burned ground of the Earthquakes reserve near Duntroon. Briefly paused then dove down a lidless Cantuaria hole.

Kapiti Island. Tail was not intact so hard to rule out Raukawa?

Rock tor system. A genuine "wild" animal. Not in a fenced reserve or a trapped area. Eastern form.

On the tideline. Got caught by a wave, just as I went to pick it up. This is absence data for Go-Sea. Light winds, mostly from the N. Calm seas

Two together, have included pics of both. The second one dropped its tail when the pair were disturbed. They were in a pile of firewood that the landowner was relocating.
