~12 km West of Nata, at edge of pan, with grey soil; abundant aromatic shrub; lvs simple, alt, entire, narrow, aligning with ridges down stems, rib prom below; inflorescence axillary, thistle-like, purple.
~1km East of Gweta: common small tree with distinctive bark, snaking dark strips revealing bright orange under-bark; flowers white but unpleasant smelling.
