First posted in April 2024. This post (I hope) confirms the species of this Vaccinium that I also posted in April (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/156637079). Growing in low woods, shaded by jack pines.

One problem is that the Michigan Flora key (https://michiganflora.net/genus/Vaccinium) to Vaccinium states that the new stems should be sharply ridged, but they are not ridged at all on this plant.
