ID based on conspicuous, pale-yellow hairs on first and second legs, far fewer hairs on third legs; dark nearly hairless abdomen (with only a couple of small dark hairs just visible); raised, extensive pale-yellow hairs on thorax and behind and under eyes. Also L. affinis seems be a late summer/fall species.

Prey species apparently goldenrod soldier beetle (Chauliognathus pensylvanicus).
Flew away before I could get better pictures. I was sitting on the patio when it absolutely nailed me flying at full speed! Thought it was dead but it got up and flew away.
