Male found dead in our garden this morning. He had scratch marks and may have been fighting or attacked overnight. They offer nest in our roof.

Deceased female Squirrel Glider found at base of power pole.
May've been electrocuted, as fuse on post was arcing & on fire. She was missing flesh/hair on a fare portion/length of the underside of her tail.
Ausnet linesman called out said it's somewhat common to find possums in this state after they've damaged the components.
One glided from adjacent gum, to join the other. Low down in the gum, so able to capture a half decent pic with phone camera.
Startled birds from an Acacia Penninervis approx 1.5-1.8m
Several bushes clumped together
Wattle had mix of mature seed heads with seed and a new flush of flowers
Unable to confirm if they were feeding in wattle.

Dirt 'no through road' with only 4 houses. Mum road kill, n/s ear freshly chewed off. Little female joey in pouch untouched. Now with local carer.
