AOR young adult on Old Route 22. Injured (crack in plastron and scuff marks) but likely to survive. Released in adjacent brook. GTS 1311.
Seen on Dunderberg Turnpike in the former hamlet of Doodletown trying to lay eggs.
Seen basking with sliders in a lake in the Ramble next to the boathouse. 90% sure of id. It really annoys me when one of my observations doesn't show up on this site when I look at a species and I see it's research grade. One of the lame things about this site.
Much larger than the group of Eastern Painted Turtles nearby.
