Diario de afloorlamp

Visited Point Pleasant Park on a sunny day to complete some sampling for field experiment #3. The sun was it my eyes a little (would have brought sunglasses if I'd planned ahead enough), but it was overall a good day to be out. Not much wind, and a medium-low tide made sampling quite doable, and I found some interesting specimens along the beach.

Went out on a cool, cloudy day to do some sampling for my second field experiment. Before laying out my transect line and getting started, I quickly scouted out the beach for any interesting finds. The decomposing bird was definitely a highlight, and is likely some kind of large waterfowl, according to a bird-savvy friend. The tide was quite low and there wasn't much wind, making it a good day to head out :)

I went on a nice walk to Point Pleasant during a sunny Saturday. The weather was great, and even though the tide was close to high I enjoyed seeing some cool intertidal creatures. There were lots of different types of macroalgae, and I even found a friend (a small green crab) while I was taking a look at them. While not recorded here, there were a lot of very cute dogs enjoying the day as well :)
