Over the last 4 weeks I have observed a gradual expansion of the abdomen especially in the females (however it is present in both sexes.) The way this manifests is that the the sides become yellow as lateral and ventral sclerites separate and the flexible yellow colored integument unfolds to accommodate the growing abdomen. The amount of males caught at the site 1 and 2 have increased over the last 4 weeks as well. I dissected the abdomen of this female and found 34 immature eggs (each about the size of 2 mm). These were easy to remove and quantify since they were slightly hardened and had consistency of small grains of rice.
