Urban Ecology Center Walk! Post #2
After a long week of work, I was finally able to get some fresh air this Friday night on a walk thru the Urban Ecology Center with my little sister (she was very helpful with the observations). This time we left the dogs in hopes of seeing some more wildlife. We walked up and down and close to the water as well so plenty of terrain...but not too much biodiversity. We saw a lot of the same plants with a few outliers, but overall this was much better than last week. The atmosphere was like a balm to our city-weary bodies at least from my 9-5 during the week. We saw some purple and pink flowers along with some huge wild rhubarb (Lesser burdock). The water was not too clean with a lot of trash by the river which sucked to see, but overall this was a great walk and a chance to spend some time with my little sister :). Take a look at some of the observations and let me know what you think!
