Approximately 500 acres of mostly oak-hickory-pine forest with 3 creeks and one artificial pond. Several acres of pasture and multiple homes present. Predominantly xeric woods, and in places steep and rocky, but with substantial wetland habitat in the valleys. Between these sit areas of mesic woodland. A long power line trail dissecting the property in two provides a more open prairie-like habitat. Historically, most of the land would have been a fire-maintained savanna. There has been farming and logging, but many wooded areas have seen little disturbance besides occasional fire and grazing cattle for the last 100 years.
