I am a retired wildlife biologist living on the fascinating Cumberland Plateau in eastern Tennessee. I spent 20+ years working for the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife. I also spent 5 rewarding years working at the New Jersey Nature Conservancy. During the course of my career I worked on a wide array of habitat restoration projects and land management issues. At the heart of all my work I have maintained a constant and growing passion for entomology. I have had the privilege to publish many papers and eventually a book about dragonflies and damselflies. In addition to an ongoing fascination with Odonata I am also focused on the Moths and Tiger Beetles of this region. I have a profoundly love for all aspects of natural history and look forward to sharing some of my observations here.
