When I was 10 I decided I didn't have the patience and mental skills to be a naturalist. Now, after a good time of time in the classroom and field since 2018, I have proved that I was right and the decades were not misdirected by not following that path. I do enjoy being out there in the sun, wind, snow and rain. I am developing some skill with birds; everything else is slow. I appreciate all the skilled people helping to confirm and often correct my observations.
