I recently moved to North Carolina from Colorado (2011). I've always been a gardener but being so new to the region (despite graduating from NC State years ago), I'm a little lost. So as I learn, I hope to help others, too. Have taken a few classes at the N.C. Botanical Gardens, which has been a true pleasure. Have recently taken up walking around with binoculars. Also, a reformed journalist.
