Grew up on a farm in Culpeper Virginia and although I left the farm, it never left me, giving me a lifelong appreciation for nature. I try to give back by working on invasive species abatement on Belle Isle here in Richmond Va, and have recently grown some native herbaceous perennials in a seed bed.
