A day outdoors is a great day! I love learning about nature, fungi, pollinators, birds and edible plants. I am an avid "zone 8" gardener, who spends my free time observing the natural world around me. With iNaturalist, I have fun learning about things of great interest to me, and it feels like I'm playing a real-life version of Zelda! Of course, the identification part is done with great care and attention to accuracy, as I want to help the naturalists and observers on the forum. My former QA brain takes over at times and I can spend copious amounts of time trying to hunt down proper ID's... The community is great, informative and I enjoy sharing what I know with others.
