I'm a professional palaeoecologist and amateur macro-photographer, with a wide interest in the diversity, evolution and extinction of Australian and Indo-Pacific island terrestrial invertebrates, especially beetles. I am lucky to have four Australian beetles, an Australian spider, a Mascarene millipede and a lace bug named after me.
