I have been a "naturalist" since childhood, when my parents took me on botanical, limnological, paleontological and geological excursions. Botany was one of those things, because sometimes I would unsuspectingly pick the flowers that everyone else in the area was looking for. I also happened to pick an almost complete dapideus from the slate of the Lower Jurassic.
After many years of spiritual science, I now consider myself a professional in the practical care of meadows to promote biodiversity. My wife and I identify many perennials, but I just can't remember their names. But I can recite the series of metric threaded screws. Just a real man : -)
