I am an amateur naturalist (very amateur, but I am learning) who has always, since childhood, had an interest in the natural world. For the last 20 years I have lived in London and to be honest have not been so active in my pursuit of nature; but having moved out to the Hampshire countryside (and having a garden again!) my interest in British nature has been rekindled. I am particularly interested in British fauna and flora.
