I am a student studying zooarchaeology (the archaeology of animal bones). I have four years of research experience identifying animals to species, or higher taxonomic levels (depending on the condition of the bones). My favourite bones to ID are fish, so if you have any observations of fish bones that you think could be better ID'd, feel free to tag me in them and I'll take a look (please be patient though because I have a bit of a backlog at the moment). Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in learning more about the identification of animals based on their osteology, or about zooarchaeology as a field!
