Environmental Science student from Acadia University. I was a field assistant for Clean Nova Scotia (Clean Foundation) and Clean Annapolis River Project (CARP). I've monitored Wood Turtle nesting sites and monitored dissolved oxygen content and e. coli levels of the Annapolis River. I've helped sample soft-shell clams to understand their population and the effects of clam harvesting. I've worked primarily with a stream restoration project, helping Brook Trout and other fish species migration. I also conducted a baseline study on the physical and ecological characteristics of barachois ponds (tidal ponds) in the Bras d'Or Lake of Cape Breton with the NS DNR. I'm passionate about conservation and my interests are in ecosystem restoration.
