Birder, herper, life list angler, and all-around nature enthusiast. I have always been uniquely fascinated with animals, and since picking up birding at the age of eight, I have perpetually found more and more to learn about in the natural world.

I am currently an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, where I am pursuing degrees in geography and integrative biology. I have as a research assistant in a lab focused on avian reproductive endocrinology, and I have academic interests in conservation ecology, biogeography, systematics, evolutionary ecology, and geomorphology.

In 2021 I interned and worked at the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center near Bartlesville, Oklahoma, working primarily on aviculture, transport, and habitat restoration for the Masked Bobwhite reintroduction program.

Additional projects I worked on with the Sutton Center include surveying greater prairie-chicken leks in northeastern Oklahoma, Fish and Wildlife Service point counts of migratory birds in east Texas and Oklahoma, and covering survey tracts for the Second Oklahoma Breeding Bird Atlas.
